Hello, I'm Maddur

Travel Photographer  ·  Battle Creek, Michigan

For more than 40 years, I've traveled with a camera in hand, photographing the landscapes, architecture and cultures of Antarctica, Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, South America and North America. What draws me back again and again is the chance to capture a place as it truly feels: its light, its people and its quiet moments.

Photography has long run alongside my career in medicine. After earning my medical degree at Mysore Medical College in Karnataka, India, I came to the United States in 1985 and have since practiced critical care, pulmonary and internal medicine in Battle Creek, Michigan.

I'm a member of the Photographic Society of America, and my work has been published in books including Travel Photography and Grandeur of Rajasthan. Prints of the images on this site are available on request.
